Candle Pen, the award-winning organization of Makati Hope Christian School, opens itself to volunteers for the publications, radio, relations, and projects department starting S.Y. 2022-2023 to students from grades 7-12.
They provide extra manpower to the organization and are called upon when needed.
The Publications Department is accepting writers, layout artists, and photographers. This department produces content for quarterly issues and social media posts by writing articles, creating comics, documenting events through photos, and the like.
On the other hand, the Radio Department is accepting hosts, scriptwriters, and audio editors for their podcasts. This department creates audio content for Candle Pen Radio.
Those wishing to volunteer for the Relations Department are entrusted with managing the social media accounts of Candle Pen and strengthening the relationships with partner organizations, sponsors, ambassadors, and members of the Editorial Board.
Finally, students who enlist for the Projects Department are tasked with organizing and executing the events or outreach programs of the organization, which includes writing concept papers, sourcing needed materials, and managing the logistics of projects.
In addition, Candle Pen offers the position of part-time volunteer to individuals who do not want to fully commit to the organization.
