Sweeping up major awards, Grade 11 Trojans and Grade 7 Spartans achieved victory over competitor batches in the Intramurals 2019.
The competition was divided into two divisions: elementary division for grades 5 to 7 and the high school division for grades 8 to 12.
For the elementary, Spartans managed to win the table tennis boys singles and doubles categories, badminton boys doubles, girls singles and doubles categories, chess boys and girls categories, volleyball, basketball and the cheerdance competition.
Grade 6 Panthers, on the other hand, capped the Ms. Intramurals crown, through Annika Uy, table tennis girls singles and doubles, three-legged race boys, 2nd runner up in volleyball and 1st runner-up in basketball.
Grade 5 Vanguards won in three-legged race girls, 1st runner-up in volleyball and 2nd runner-up in basketball. The batch was awarded with the best jersey.
Grade 11 Trojans kept its competitors away from the summit of table tennis boys singles and doubles, chess boys, badminton girls singles and doubles and cheerdance competition. The batch also received 1st runner-up in volleyball and 2nd runner-up in basketball.
Chailin Yoon, from the Trojans, was crowned Ms. Intramurals 2019.
The 1st runner-up batch, Grade 12 Tigers, won in the three-legged race boys and girls categories, volleyball while also receiving 1st runner-up in the basketball and garnering the best jersey award.
2nd runner-up Grade 10 Crusaders rallied best in the basketball while also championing the table tennis girls singles and doubles and 2nd runner-up in volleyball.
Grade 9 Kings won in the badminton boys singles and chess girls champion.
Individual awards were also given to chess winners Alxandra Huang, Ardi Sevilla, Faith Ongaria, Jerome Tan, Charmaine Chua, Kurt Estenar, Hillary Tan and Calvin Wang for the elementary, Hannah Tayzon, Bryce Calacday, Fiona Jao, Ericson Tan, Jasmine Chua, Robert Castro, Kim Estenar and Marcus Co for the high school.
The Mythical 6 for Volleyball of Elementary Division are Kathlyn Ann Go, Brianne Co, Charmina Tia, Katherine Reyes, Jean Ong and Chynna Co while for the High School Division are Chelsea Que, Kylene Lim, Nicole Sison, Haslie Chan, Honey Sy and Francesca Co. Go and Chan were awarded as the MVPs for the tournament.
The Mythical 5 for Basketball of Elementary Division are Kyle Floresca, Elton Go, Yuan So, Jeremiah Sy-Wico and Kenneth Majestrado while for the High School Division are Nathan Torralba, Clarence Sia, Daniel Angeles, Ben Sebastian Antonio and Robin Alba. Go and Torralba were chosen as the MVP.
