Proving that Makati Hope Christian School remains as the best training center in Mathematics, the school’s mathletes garnered several gold, silver and bronze medals and other merit awards in four different competitions held online last October and November.
In the Asian Science and Math Olympiads for Primary and Secondary Schools held October 11, five silver medals were achieved in the math division by Jimica Charise Lau (G7 Solomon), Jairus Alfred Cruz (G6 Hosea), Juan Sebastian Viernes (G7 Solomon), Dean Alistair Yu (G10 Uzziah) and Jerome Samuel Tan (G9 Josiah).
David Angelo Biliwang (G6 Hosea) won a bronze medal while Aaron Zachary Teng (G6 Hosea), Cyanxiel Tavares (G4 Psalms), Shine Kheyla Somera (G5 Jeremiah), Vian Sander Ching (G7 Solomon), Yu Quan Seek (G5 Jeremiah), Leona Noa Taparan (G6 Hosea), Danaielle Haley Magtoto (G4 Psalms) and Jasmine Kimberly Ngo (G10 Uzziah) were merit awardees.
Roxburgh Yu (G7 Solomon) was the lone silver medal winner in its science division.
During the Singapore International Math Olympiad Challenge held October 24, Juan Sebastain Viernes won a silver medals while Roxburgh Yu and Jairus Alfred Cruz each received a bronze medal.
For the World Math Invitational 2020 last October 25, Dean Alistair Yu managed to win a gold medal while Josh Angelo Ty (G11 Hezekiah) got a silver medal.
Roxburgh Yu and Jairus Alfred Cruz both received bronze medals while Jasmine Kimberly Ngo, Heegyeong Kim (G10 Uzziah), Juan Sebastian Viernes, Cyanxiel Tavares were recipients of merit awards.
For the Math Without Borders 2020 Autumn Round last October 31, Juan Sebastian Viernes, Kelly Grace Co (G5 Jeremiah), Nicholas Dominick Esquivel (G3 Job) and Wynona Erin Sia (G2 Judges) won silver medals.
Roxburgh Yu, Aaron Zachary Teng , Jairus Alfred Cruz, Shine Khelya Somera, David Angelo Biliwang, Cyanxiel Tavares and Samantha Beatrice Mislang (G3 Job) received bronze medals.
