Despite being limited to online activities and competitions, one ballerina has received five top awards in different dance contests.
Tiffany Jocelyn Ong, a Grade 4 Proverbs student, won her first place in the ballet repertoire primary for ages 9-10, in the contemporary lyrical primary for ages 9-10, and in the neo-classical duo for ages 12 and up in the Asia Open Dance Championship held October 4.
After a week, Ong competed in the Star of Canaan Dance where she bagged first place in the duo classical ballet and seventh place in the solo classical ballet for ages 7-8.
Another first place was garnered by Ong in the ballet classical group for ages 8-10 and second place in the ensemble duo for ages 8 and up during the semi-finals of WBAC Grand Prix International Ballet Competition last November 1.
