When we give,
We bring joy to people young or old,
Bringing the shining sun into their faces
And into their day, rays of gold.
When we give,
We lend a hand to those in need,
Lightening the weight on their shoulders,
Helping them plant a new seed.
When we give,
We can view a sea of glistening smiles
More than enough to stitch up
All our sadness into an ocean of happiness.
When we give,
Price tags don’t matter.
Invisible thoughts are valued more
Than extravagant presents.
When we give with care,
He would appreciate the gifts we share
Through bountiful blessings that
Givers will receive.
