Christmas is the happiest time of the year.
It’s when people come together
And finally, have a chance
to catch a breather.
We exchange gifts and presents
And hear the caroling instruments.
Choirs singing different chords
In front of houses full of decor.
Another chance to give thanks
to the Lord
For opening another door.
We each spend time
with family and friends
And catch a flight back
to our homeland.
We’re finally able to take a break,
While hoping there’ll be
no more virus outbreak.
It feels so nice to be grateful
And it feels so delightful.
Another year is coming to an end,
But it’s a fresh new start they said.
It’s such a joy to be
present at this time
With lots of laughter and smile
That can be seen
and heard for miles
At the parties and celebrations being thrown.
The Christmas spirit
never leaves unknown.
